'The Last Battle' A final ending, involving that of a fight, an encounter; a war, placed last in a sequence, a match between two combatants within a terminal period or time, a protracted struggle wthin the final mention. The Last Battle. The End. The final Chapter. The penultimate conclusion. I guess thats what 'The Last Battle' is. An ending, of sorts. Not to sound too dramatic, but a finale.
Weeping aside, it is more so than that. So many sites exist, for RolePlay of a thousand sorts. Each of them with a single story, a single set of rules to follow, a single course to trace, a line to fall behind. And that is all they have. The story may be exquisite, the characters exceptional, but all in all, the line can be as well drawn as you wish, in the end, it is still nothing but a line; a limit to the creativity of those following it. Four walls. A room. A box.
'The Last Battle' is a box. But a larger box. A box which holds inside it a million more boxes. A simple structured forum, an area where, technically, anything can happen. Freedom. Simplicity. These are the words we used when we created this site. I could list down the names of those who helped, but they know who they are; and we are all annonymous, just the puppetteers of these facets you will see here and there, engaging in their stories. 'The Last Battle' is not an ending. Far from it. It is a rebirth. A rebirth of simple freedom. We follow but one rule;
1, Want to do it? Sure!
It's that simple. Open a thread. Go for it. Write out a three page story or a two sentence introduction. Rules? What rules? Define them as you wish. If you have a story you want to tell, then tell it. Enlist the help of others, or do it by yourself. Need inspiration? Ask around. Talk about it. Discuss with people of a like-mind. 'The Last Battle' is freedom; as I keep repeating.
What else can I say?
